Privacy policy

Last updated 8 October 2026

Lightspire is operated by Infonex Pty Ltd (ABN 93 632 080 427). We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This page says what we collect, why, where it lives and how to ask us about it.

What we collect

From business owners who sign up: your name, email address and profile picture from Google (or just your email if you sign in with a link), your business details, and billing details, which are handled by Stripe. We never see your full card number.

From people who call a Lightspire number: the phone number they call from, what they say on the call, and anything they give the agent such as a name, email address or booking details. Calls are recorded so the business can listen back.

From visitors to this website: standard usage analytics (pages viewed, browser, rough location) and, if you try the demo call, the audio of that call while it is in progress. Demo calls are not recorded.

Why we collect it

  • To answer calls and take bookings on behalf of the business you called.
  • To show the business its calls, recordings, transcripts, customers and bookings.
  • To bill subscriptions and top-ups.
  • To send the emails and texts the business has turned on, such as a new booking alert.
  • To find and fix problems with the service.

Where it lives

Bookings, customers, transcripts and summaries are stored in a database hosted by Supabase in Sydney, Australia. Audio recordings are stored by our voice platform, Vapi, in the United States, and are only reachable from the business owner's dashboard.

During a call, audio is processed in real time by our speech and language providers (Deepgram, OpenAI and Cartesia, through Vapi) in the United States, so that the agent can listen and reply. Telephony is carried by Telnyx. Payments are processed by Stripe. Emails are sent by Resend. Website analytics run on PostHog.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it with advertisers.
  • We don't use call recordings to train AI models.
  • We don't contact a business's callers ourselves. Only the business can, through its own tools.

Call recording

Each business using Lightspire is responsible for telling its callers that calls are recorded where the law requires it. Recording laws differ by state and territory. If you called a business and want a recording deleted, contact that business; it can delete the call from its dashboard, or ask us to.

How long we keep it

While a business has an account, its data stays available to it. When an account is closed, we delete its calls, recordings, customers and bookings within 30 days, except billing records we must keep under Australian tax law (five years).

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@lightspire.ai and we'll reply within 30 days. If you're not happy with our answer you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll email account holders before it takes effect. The date at the top is the date of the current version.
