Where is my data kept?
Your bookings, customers, transcripts and call summaries are stored in Sydney. Call recordings are stored by our voice platform in the United States. Everything below is taken from the privacy policy, which is the full and current version.
Where it lives
The privacy policy says:
"Bookings, customers, transcripts and summaries are stored in a database hosted by Supabase in Sydney, Australia. Audio recordings are stored by our voice platform, Vapi, in the United States. The business sees them in its dashboard; Lightspire can reach them too, to run and support the service."
During a call
"During a call, audio is processed in real time by our speech and language providers (Deepgram, OpenAI and Cartesia, through Vapi) in the United States, so that the agent can listen and reply. Telephony is carried by Telnyx. Payments are processed by Stripe. Emails are sent by Resend. Website analytics run on PostHog."
Who can see your calls
"Recordings and transcripts can be accessed by the business you called and by Lightspire. We don't share them with anyone else, except the service providers listed above that store or process them for us."
Lightspire never sells personal information and doesn't share it with advertisers. Lightspire doesn't contact your callers itself.
Is it used to train AI?
The privacy policy says recordings and transcripts may be used to improve Lightspire:
"We may also use recordings and transcripts to improve Lightspire, including to test, evaluate and train the AI models and speech systems that power the service. Where practical we remove or mask details that identify people (such as names and phone numbers) first. We never sell recordings or transcripts, and we don't use them for advertising."
If you sign in with Google, your Google name, email and picture are never used to train AI models.
How long it's kept
"While a business has an account, its data, including call recordings and transcripts, stays available to it. When an account is closed, we delete its calls, recordings, customers and bookings, except billing records we must keep under Australian tax law (five years)."
